Jamf joins Okta Elevate weeks after launching its own points-based programme
The new collaboration builds on Jamf and Okta's joint efforts to support Appleās Platform Single Sign-On
Apple device management and security specialist, Jamf, has joined the Okta Elevate Partner Programme.
This partnership aims to align the go-to-market strategies of both companies and accelerate their collaborative product innovations, particularly in the area of cloud identity management.
The partnership extends an existing collaboration between the two companies, highlighted by their joint effort to support Apple's Platform Single Sign-On (SSO).
This integration was developed to enhance the user experience by simplifying the login process across Apple devices.
"With Okta as the identity provider and Jamf as the management and security solution, our joint customers can offer end users uninterrupted and productive workflows, anytime and anywhere," said Henry Patel, chief strategy officer at Jamf.
"We have a long history of innovating with Okta to meet the evolving needs of our joint customers. We're excited to take the next step on our journey together."
"We're excited to have Jamf join the Okta Elevate Partner Programme. Together, we've created a best-of-breed solution that integrates endpoint management and identity on the Apple platform," added Stephen Lee, vice president of technical strategy and partnerships at Okta.
The integrated technology from Jamf and Okta aims to provide businesses with a solution for modern authentication and secure access to company applications.
Key benefits of the partnership include enhanced security through multi-factor authentication (MFA) and passwordless SSO, streamlined device enrollment via Enrollment SSO, and improved productivity through fewer sign-ins with Platform SSO (PSSO).
The joint solution also ensures continuous conditional access, adjusting user permissions based on real-time security assessments.
This partnership underscores the companies' commitment to delivering secure and efficient solutions tailored to the needs of Apple-centric businesses.
The news follows Jamf's recent announcement of its first ever global partner programme with a points-based system aimed at Apple partners.
By introducing a points-based system, Jamf claimed it was removing any programme complexities while still offering the right benefits to the right partners at the right time, based on their unique value propositions and business models.
