Not necessarily a law but I would move Xmas to the summer as I hate having so much time off in the winter months.

I have only read one book since leaving school: The Street Smart MBA by Ian Fishwick - I would recommend it to anyone in the industry.

Keep your head below the parapet and you won't make yourself a target.
