What has been your business highlight of 2022?

Winning the CRN Clean Energy Award. This has been a six-year journey from planning to completion and we are thrilled that CC and the team behind the transformation have received the recognition.

Be kind.

Susan Wojcicki - mother of five and CEO of YouTube.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

"Don't lie to me."

What was your first job?

Cleaning the bedrooms in my parents' hotel in Blackpool at the weekends when I was 12. We'd had the hotel since I was two, and as it was a family owned and run business I was always helping; however, this was my first paid job!

What was the last book you read, and was it any good?

Best not comment.

What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?

You can't please everyone.
