Getting out and visiting our reseller partners and attending face-to-face events.
If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?
Good manners. I'm old fashioned but a please and thank you goes a long way.
Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?
That is a very difficult question to answer, and I cannot pick any one leader, but I'm inspired and impressed by all leaders who put their people first and nurture a can-do culture within their business.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
"Tendency to talk about running."
What was your first job?
Saturday job in a local bakery. Getting up at 4am to warm the ovens up, the smell of freshly baked goodies made it worthwhile.
What was the last book you read, and was it any good?
Let Your Mind Run by Deena Kastor - this was a recommendation from a good friend, and I enjoyed every page of it - positive thinking at its best.
What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?
Quite simply: "You can't please all the people all the time, but you can please some people some of the time."
