What has been your business highlight of 2022?

Moving to the world of managed print from PS was an exciting new adventure for me within HP. I like to keep learning and growing, so this move was a big highlight for me this year. Making new connections and meeting partners face-to-f-ace or remotely has been a great experience. I also have to say that one of the more unique 2022 business highlights for me was making Mr Whippy ice creams during the heatwave while talking through our latest printer portfolio - a meeting to remember for sure!

If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?

Interesting question. I would love for more people to be kind and respectful of one another, and each other's opinions. We'd have a great country built on supporting and lifting each other up.

Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?

For me, it's been so encouraging to see how many of our channel partners positively engaged with our HP Pride Month activities. I was thrilled to see the uptake throughout Pride month and to hear about the plans and long-term activities that were created among the channel community to continue the momentum of the month.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

"Caution: operates at high speed - seat belts advised."

What was your first job?

I was a buyer at Computer Centre - buying HP printers and laptops!

What was the last book you read, and was it any good?

I love reading books on my Kindle - you could definitely call me a bookworm. I recently read a great murder mystery based in Portsmouth called The Langstone Harbour Murders by Pauline Rowson. It really resonated with me as I went to Portsmouth University, so recognised a lot of the locations in the book.

What's the most important lesson you've learned from another business leader or mentor?

A key piece of advice I have always carried with me is "treat people the way they want to be treated, not how you want to be treated".

Who would play you in a movie of your life?

Joanna Page. Although I'm not Welsh, I love her energy, kindness and positivity!
