Academia was another mid-tier reseller which had a bumper 2023.
Having reported its annual results last October, the Hemel Hempstead-based group touted this as a record result since the business was founded in 2008.
The company has been hiring at pace in its senior leadership, having brought in Computacenter and Storm vet Trevor Nickolls as sales director last year, Redstone and Jigsaw24 cadre Kris Bunting as head of technical services and Peter Heath as director of technical operations.
Longtime Academia leader Marc McCormack was promoted to MD.
After being nominated for Reseller of the Year at CRN's 2023 Channel Awards, the group has set itself some ambitious goals for this year, including an organic growth objective of 15-20 per cent.
"This is an ambitious but achievable goal, as we are expanding into the commercial sector and onboarding major new clients after setting up a dedicated team six months ago, McCormack told CRN at the time.
"Our focus will be providing more white-glove, in-house services like device deployments and logistics, now with reach across Europe."
He said Academia is aiming to differentiate itself by offering services like device leasing and equipment financing to help customers facing budget constraints.
